Responsibilities

• Weld steel and aluminum for container repairs and truck fixes.
• Fabricate components like hoppers or compactors using brake and shear.
• Cut metal with plasma cutter or torch for precise work.
• Install lids and wheels on containers to meet specs.
• Perform maintenance on company property for customer needs.
• Follow safety policies and complete paperwork.
• Keep the work area clean and compliant with OSHA.
• Handle lost and found items or report issues.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Ensure all work meets regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

Certified welder preferred.

Experience

3–5 years of welding experience, preferred.

Skills

• Ability to operate forklift (training available).
• Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team player for shop collaboration.
• Reliable and safety-conscious.

Knowledge
