Key Responsibilities
As the key technical link with customers, you will handle a full range of field service duties, including:

- Performing mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and timely breakdown services on a variety of material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.) at customer sites.
- Accurately diagnosing faults and implementing effective, lasting repairs.
- Providing a professional, solutions-focused level of customer service during every interaction.
- Maintaining meticulous and accurate service records, job sheets, and timesheets.
- Collaborating with the wider service team to share knowledge and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Staying current with the latest technology, models, and service procedures in the industry.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and proactive tradesperson with:
- A relevant trade qualification as a Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or similar.
- Proven hands-on experience in mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance.
- A current White Card and a full Australian driver’s licence.
- The ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service ethos.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously in the field.
