Your Key Responsibilities

Your role will be varied, hands-on, and crucial to our daily operations. Key duties include:

• Operating a range of mobile equipment including Tip Trucks, Loaders, Forklifts, and Sweepers.
• Performing general site clean-up and spill management of materials like clinker, cement, and limestone using hand tools and equipment.
• Conducting equipment pre-start checks and maintaining accurate log books.
• Performing clinker covering and assisting with bagging shed operations.
• Providing relief as required in critical roles, including:
• Devonport Silos Operator on a 4×12 roster (unloading trains, loading ships).
• Process Operator on a 4×12 shift roster (two nights, two days).
• The base roster is day shift, Monday to Friday (7:00 am – 3:30 pm) with overtime available.

The Skills

We are looking for candidates who are physically capable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.

• Previous experience in a heavy industry, construction, or mining environment.
• A demonstrated strong work ethic and a proactive focus on safety and compliance.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to contribute positively to a team.
• The physical capacity for demanding tasks and a willingness to work required relief shift work (4×12 roster).
• Machine operating experience (Front-end loader, forklift) is highly desirable.
• Relevant licences (Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space, Heavy Rigid) are advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
