Key Responsibilities

You’ll be the face of Goldpine for many of our customers, blending salesmanship with hard work. Your day will involve:

• Greeting customers with a friendly, can-do attitude, whether they walk into the yard or call on the phone.
• Listening to customer projects and using your growing knowledge to recommend the best value timber and product solutions.
• Building customer orders in the yard, which includes lifting timber, loading and unloading trucks, and operating machinery like forklifts and loaders.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe, and well-organised yard and showroom.
• Working as a key part of a small team to ensure everything runs smoothly from open to close.

Qualifications

While full training is provided, the right character is everything. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• A genuine ability to connect with and understand our rural customer base.
• Self-motivation, reliability, and a strong sense of integrity.
• Physical fitness appropriate for handling timber and a commitment to safe work practices.
• A full driver’s licence (or the ability to get one soon).
• A willingness to learn new skills, including gaining forklift and wheels endorsements.
• Honesty and a commitment to delivering on your promises.
