Poultry Process Worker

Responsibilities

  • Pack cold raw chicken pieces or whole birds into boxes or trays.
  • Handle raw products carefully to meet hygiene standards.
  • Sort and label items for quality and weight checks.
  • Clean and sanitize production areas between runs.
  • Operate packing lines or conveyor belts as trained.
  • Load pallets for shipping to supermarkets.
  • Follow food safety rules, like wearing gloves and hairnets.
  • Work in a cold environment, staying focused for long shifts.
  • Team up with coworkers to hit daily targets.
  • Report any product issues, like damaged packaging.
  • Pitch in on line changes or setup for new batches.
