Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Report maintenance needs and minor or major repair issues to management.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Comply with all safety, security, and quality standards set by ABM, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Dust, clean, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, floors, walls, ceilings, machines, and equipment.
• Move furniture, equipment, or boxes as needed, using manual handling or hand trucks.
• Clean glass surfaces, blinds, mirrors, and food service areas.
• Empty trash and maintain restrooms, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal, sweeping walks, raking leaves, or cutting grass.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No prior experience required on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required.
• Preferred: customer service experience or one year of similar work.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality.
• Military veterans and candidates with prior service are encouraged to apply.
