Industrial Electrician Required In Japan

i2M is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our day-shift maintenance team (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and help ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and machinery while contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines, following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in power and control circuits, including AC/DC motor controls, PLCs, variable speed drives, and industrial sensors.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical conduits, panels, and industrial controls to ensure continuous operation of production equipment.
• Observe devices in operation, use precision testing instruments, and identify sources of problems efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including supplies ordered and used.
• Ensure routine maintenance is performed on schedule to minimize downtime and prevent complex issues.
• Actively enforce and comply with safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
• Develop thorough knowledge of all production operations and equipment to support efficient maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance as an electrician (preferred).
• Strong understanding of 3-phase industrial power (240 and 480 VAC), AC-DC motor control circuits, PLCs, and electrical installation standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to prioritize tasks to minimize production downtime.
• Commitment to safety, ethical work practices, and teamwork.
