- Dust tables and shelves in residents’ rooms for a homely feel.
- Mop and vacuum floors to keep the village sparkling clean.
- Wash and fold residents’ clothes and bedding with care.
- Scrub bathrooms and kitchens to hit strict health standards.
- Clear out bins and toss rubbish in the right spots.
- Stick to cleaning rules to keep hazards at bay.
- Flag broken lights or fittings to the boss quick-smart.
- Top up cleaning supplies to avoid running dry.
- Tackle deep cleans when the village needs a refresh.
- Chat kindly with residents while tidying their spaces.
- Watch for spills in lounges or hallways during shifts.
- Use green cleaning gear as per village guidelines.
- Work rostered shifts, including weekends, without a fuss.
- Help set up rooms for residents’ social gatherings.
- Keep mops and vacuums in good nick for daily use.
Requirements
Education
High school certificate or equivalent’s enough. Extra cleaning or safety training’s a bonus.
Experience
1-2 years cleaning, preferably in aged care or hotels, but keen starters can apply.
