This is a crucial, hands-on role where you will perform two essential functions: providing secure escort driving within the pits and meticulously managing the collection, delivery, and recording of crucial drilling samples. This full-time, permanent position offers an excellent entry point into the mining industry, operating on an 8-6 or 14-7 Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) roster from Perth. Key Responsibilities

Success in this dual role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Your daily duties will naturally include:

• Safely operating company vehicles to provide pit escort support for drill rigs and other essential support equipment moving on-site.
• Executing the critical process of collecting, accurately recording, preparing, and delivering drill samples to designated locations.
• Strictly following all site-specific client policies and established Wallis Drilling procedures, particularly those related to safety and site traffic.
• Actively engaging in pre-start meetings, completing thorough risk assessments, and contributing to overall safety initiatives on the job site.
• Collaborating effectively with Supervisors to manage and prioritize daily tasks efficiently, ensuring all key deliverables are met on time.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals who are ready to make a long-term commitment to safety and quality.

Required Qualifications:

• A current, valid Australian driver’s licence.
• The ability to pass a full Drug and Alcohol screening, mandatory for all site personnel.
• Demonstrated physical fitness suitable for the demands of the role.
• A current, clear police clearance (required prior to mobilization).

Essential Requirement:

Must currently reside within the Greater Perth Metropolitan Area for FIFO mobilization.
