Key Responsibilities
In this active, hands-on role, you will be essential to our daily operations. Your core duties will include:
- Safely driving a company vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries and collections between Hamilton and South Auckland.
- Physically loading and unloading a variety of goods, including heavy and awkward items (20kg+), at our yard and customer locations.
- Providing support in the yard with general laboring tasks, organizing stock, and assisting the team as required.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork, delivery dockets, and vehicle logbooks.
- Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times during customer interactions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who brings both driving skill and a strong work ethic. The essentials for this role are:
- A current, full New Zealand Class 1 or 2 driver’s license.
- Previous driving experience is required, along with a background in labouring, warehouse work, or other hands-on physical roles.
- Must be physically fit, reliable, and able to safely and repeatedly lift items weighing 20kg or more.
- Must be highly reliable, punctual, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess a proactive, can-do attitude.
