Key Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will be the backbone of our hospital’s hygiene and presentation. Your key duties will include:

• Performing thorough cleaning and sanitization within various hospital environments, including patient wards, bathrooms, staff kitchens, and clinical areas.
• Ensuring all internal public areas, such as lifts, stairwells, and waiting rooms, are consistently clean and welcoming.
• Carefully replenishing consumables like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in patient, staff, and public restrooms and bath areas.
• Managing your time effectively to complete all assigned tasks to the highest standard of cleanliness and infection control.
• Providing excellent, courteous customer service to everyone you encounter in the hospital.
• Participating in essential health screenings, including for Hepatitis B, to ensure patient safety.

 Qualifications

• Valid rights to work in New Zealand.
• A clean criminal background, with all necessary pre-employment checks cleared.
• Up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination status, with proof provided.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Access to a reliable mode of transport for commuting to Kenepuru Hospital.
