Key Responsibilities

Your daily routine will involve maintaining various areas across our campus to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Primary duties include:

• Performing thorough cleaning of assigned areas including classrooms, common spaces, and facilities
• Completing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming with attention to detail
• Immediately reporting any maintenance hazards or defects to your Cleaning Supervisor
• Prioritizing health and safety protocols for staff, students, and visitors at all times
• Managing your time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled hours
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring proper storage after use

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who demonstrate reliability and take ownership of their work. The ideal applicant will bring:

• Minimum two years of commercial or domestic cleaning experience with verifiable references
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Consistent punctuality and strong time management skills
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and maintain communication during work hours
• Current Blue Card or eligibility to obtain one through the Department of Justice and Attorney-General
• Understanding of manual handling procedures and chemical safety standards
• Positive attitude toward receiving ongoing training and development
