Key Responsibilities
You will be essential in bringing our bakery program to life. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Baking a variety of fresh breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies daily according to provided recipes and production sheets.
- Assisting with production planning to accurately meet the day’s requirements and minimize waste.
- Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
- Maintaining impeccable sanitation and orderliness in your work area, cleaning all equipment and workstations thoroughly.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and corporate safety standards while handling ingredients and operating equipment.
- Completing necessary production records and proactively informing your supervisor of low supplies.
Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual who brings:
- A professional baking certificate from an accredited institution is a strong asset, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on baking experience.
- The ability to work a consistent early morning schedule (5:00 AM – 1:00 PM).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
- The initiative to work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A steadfast commitment to following recipes, procedures, and safety protocols.
- The physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, including standing for extended periods and handling ingredients and equipment.
