Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing end-to-end arboricultural services to our diverse clientele. Your key duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of trees and shrubs to assess health, structural integrity, and identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Performing a full range of tree care tasks, including precision pruning, trimming, removals, and stump grinding, using industry-best practices.
  • Safely operating and maintaining specialized arborist equipment such as chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, and aerial work platforms (EWPs).
  • Providing clear, professional advice and written recommendations to clients on tree management, preservation, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensuring every task, from ground preparation to final clean-up, is completed in strict compliance with all WHS and environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate job records, client reports, and equipment maintenance logs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified professional who combines formal training with practical field experience. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A formal qualification in Arboriculture, Horticulture, or a directly related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience working as a qualified Arborist, with a strong portfolio in tree assessment, maintenance, and complex removals.
  • High proficiency in operating all core arboricultural machinery, including chainsaws, chippers, and EWPs.
  • A solid, working knowledge of Queensland’s Work Health and Safety regulations and industry standards for tree work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and provide excellent service to clients.
  • A current driver’s licence and reliability to travel to various client sites across the region.
