Key Responsibilities

Assist Customers:

  • Greet visitors warmly and professionally.
  • Verify identification and assist customers in completing forms.
  • Provide correct brochures and information based on customer needs.

Administer Tests:

  • Give vision screenings to applicants according to established procedures.
  • Administer knowledge tests for driver licensing.
  • Enter test results into online systems accurately.

Process Applications:

  • Enter customer information into driver licensing software.
  • Handle REAL ID requirements and verify documentation.
  • Produce restoration letters when requested.

Provide Service Guidance:

  • Answer questions about renewals, duplicates, transfers, motorcycle licenses, CDL requirements, and other licensing services.
  • Guide customers through the licensing process with patience and clarity.

Follow Policies:

  • Use correct fee waiver codes.
  • Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Follow customer service rules and meet all REAL ID and Title VI requirements.

Support Center Operations:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Travel to other Driver License Centers when needed.
  • Complete all required training on time.
  • Work overtime as required.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public required.
  • Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirement.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Must pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to enter data accurately and use computer systems.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
