CDL Driver-Laborer Need In Taiwan – Foreign Worker Visa 2026

Penn Line Tree Service, a multi-state specialty contractor based in Scottdale, PA, is seeking a CDL Driver/Laborer to join our tree division, which specializes in line clearance work. This role involves operating tractor trailers and other miscellaneous equipment to haul oversized clearing equipment, chip vans, and log trailers between work sites. However, driving duties are only a minor portion of this position the majority of the work involves laborer duties such as operating a chainsaw, chipping, clearing and dragging brush, spraying herbicide, and flagging. If you have a Class A CDL with at least 6 months driving experience and heavy hauling experience, and are willing to travel throughout PA, MD, OH, VA, and NC, we want to hear from you. This position requires up to 60-70 hours per week, including overtime and storm work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties:

Operate tractor trailers and other miscellaneous equipment to haul oversized clearing equipment, chip vans, and log trailers between work sites.
Transport work materials as needed.
Haul wood and tree chips.
Operate log truck, debris truck, and tri-axle as required.
Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

Laborer Duties (Majority of Position):

Operate chainsaw for tree trimming and clearing.
Chip, clear, and drag brush.
Spray herbicide for vegetation management.
Flag traffic as needed for work zone safety.
Participate in utility line tree trimming and right-of-way clearing.
Assist with vegetation management tasks.

General:

Travel throughout various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, and NC as work locations require.
Be flexible to travel regionally when called upon; work locations subject to change on short notice.
Work up to 60-70 hours per week, including overtime and storm work.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

Class A CDL required.
At least 6 months driving experience with Class A CDL.
Heavy Hauling experience is a must.
Willingness to perform laborer duties (chainsaw operation, chipping, brush clearing, herbicide spraying, flagging).
Ability to travel throughout PA, MD, OH, VA, and NC.
Flexibility to work up to 60-70 hours per week, including overtime and storm work.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
Satisfactory driving record.
