Parts Assistant Required In Canada

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Parts Assistant to support daily operations in our Lloydminster shop. In this role, you’ll help keep production running smoothly by organizing parts, preparing build kits, and ensuring materials are available for our fabrication, welding, electrical, and mechanical teams. If you enjoy staying organized, solving small daily challenges, and working in a hands-on shop environment, this position offers the right mix of routine and variety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize build kits for fabrication, welding, mechanical, electrical, and machining teams.
  • Label, store, and maintain parts in an orderly and accessible way.
  • Receive incoming materials and update inventory records accurately.
  • Support inventory control by helping maintain reliable stock levels and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure parts are delivered where and when they’re needed.
  • Occasionally assist with material pickups and support general shop tasks when required.

Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in parts coordination, inventory, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or fabrication-related parts.
  • Comfortable using computer-based inventory systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license; trailer hauling experience is helpful.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work effectively in a busy shop environment.
  • Positive communication style and willingness to help wherever needed.
