Electrical Apprentice Required In Canada

An opportunity is now open for a motivated Electrical Apprentice or Junior Shop Assistant to join our Saskatoon team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has an interest in electrical systems, and thrives in a shop environment. You’ll support day-to-day operations by assisting with electrical testing, wiring, mechanical assembly, cleaning, and sandblasting. Key Responsibilities

Assist with assembling and disassembling a variety of mechanical components.
Clean parts and ensure they are prepared for repair, testing, or reassembly.
Keep the shop floor well-organized, tidy, and safe.
Sandblast mechanical parts as required.
Support electrical testing and basic wiring under guidance.
Maintain a high standard of organization, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
Communicate with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
Identify opportunities to improve shop processes and workflows.

Qualifications

Electrical knowledge or enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship is an asset.
Mechanically inclined, with familiarity using basic mechanical tools.
Strong time management abilities and the capacity to handle multiple tasks.
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
Problem-solving mindset and confidence working independently when required.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
A positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
