Responsibilities

• Read welding blueprints, drawings, specs, manuals, and processes.
• Run manual, semi-automatic, or full automated welding tools.
• Check welds to match standards and fix any issues.
• Use flame-cutting gear by hand or semi-automatic.
• Work with CAD for design tasks.
• Operate brakes, shears, and machines to shape, straighten, or bend metal.
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal parts.
• Test materials for weldability before starting.
• Handle hoisting and lifting equipment safely.
• Set up and run welding machines to build or fix metal items.
• Use brazing or soldering machines to join metal or fill gaps.
• Start, stop, tweak, and watch robotic welding lines.
• Keep welding, brazing, and soldering tools in shape with small fixes.

Requirements

Education

Experience

1 year welding experience.
