Key Responsibilities
You’ll wear several hats in this varied role, with key duties including:
- Managing day-to-day warehouse logistics: receiving full container shipments, picking and packing individual customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Safely lifting, moving, and organising stock using equipment like hand trolleys and pallet jacks (and potentially a forklift).
- Assisting with inventory management and maintaining a tidy, organised warehouse space.
- Providing friendly, helpful customer service directly to retail clients, both in-person and via communication channels.
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with various tasks and proactively contributing to a smooth workflow.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and a great team fit. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safe manual handling practices.
- Ability to regularly lift and move heavy items safely.
- Proficiency using warehouse equipment (hand trolleys, pallet jacks). A forklift licence is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
- A self-motivated, proactive work style with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, positive personality for customer interactions.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within our small, open team.
