Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and reinforce core behaviors by coaching and supporting team members.
• Maintain a culture of safety in all work processes.
• Prepare, set up, and operate grinding machinery to meet tooling specifications.
• Sort, inspect, and clean tools and machinery to ensure quality standards.
• Accurately grind tooling according to specifications, applying tool geometry knowledge.
• Inspect completed tools for defects or inconsistencies.
• Respond to standard operational issues following established procedures.
• Perform all tasks in compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar grinding or tooling role.
• Knowledge of material types, tooling, and machine capabilities, including Tru-Tech, Cylindrical, and Manual Grinding Machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, and radius gauges.
• Competence in identifying imperfections using visual inspection tools like loupes and magnifiers.
• CNC certification preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and workplace procedures.
