Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the face of Softvire’s technical excellence, taking ownership of complex installations and mentoring others. Your work will be critical to our reputation.
- Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced telecommunications and network equipment for a variety of clients.
- Expertly diagnose and resolve complex faults within data, voice, and fibre optic systems.
- Test and certify network cabling and connections to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to plan and execute jobs efficiently, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
- Provide guidance and informal leadership to other technicians, sharing your knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Maintain meticulous service records, documentation, and job reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety in every task, adhering strictly to all company procedures and industry regulations.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who brings a strong blend of technical mastery and leadership potential. The ideal professional for this role will have:
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician, with experience in a leadership or senior mentoring capacity.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of structured cabling, fibre optics, and wireless technologies.
- A proven ability to work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and prioritise tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and clients.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and delivering a customer experience that builds trust and loyalty.
