Key Responsibilities
As a Grade 3 Technician, you will be responsible for the precise commissioning and upkeep of our systems, ensuring they meet the highest global standards.
- Perform scheduled testing, commissioning, and functional checks on new installations, ensuring all work is completed on time and adheres to strict technical specifications.
- Carry out visual checks, monthly maintenance, and assist in troubleshooting minor to medium faults on basic modular units, performing necessary corrective or replacement works.
- Ensure all work processes fully comply with Schindler’s global safety, quality, and environmental requirements, as well as all local statutory regulations.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and site teams, providing clear communication and feedback. Accurately complete all required checklists, test reports, and documentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for a technically proficient and safety-conscious individual with the right certifications and a collaborative spirit.
- You must have attained the Basic Modular Product Fitter Certification.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting layout drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams is essential.
- A solid understanding of basic electrical fundamentals, controllers, drives, and safety devices related to elevator systems.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a responsible, proactive, and team-oriented work ethic.
- You must be physically fit to handle tools and equipment and work in various site conditions.
- Training in IoEE Installation and Commissioning and Basic Modular Maintenance is highly advantageous.
