Your Role And Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will ensure our manufacturing equipment operates safely and efficiently. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installations on production equipment.
- Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns, conducting emergency troubleshooting, and executing repairs to minimize downtime.
- Accurately reading and interpreting mechanical diagrams to diagnose issues and complete tasks.
- Safely operating relevant equipment such as forklifts, fixed cranes, and performing tasks like acetylene welding as needed.
- Completing all work with a strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
- Effectively executing tasks and projects as assigned by maintenance supervisors and collaborating with operations teams.
The Skills And Experience You Bring
To be successful, you will combine practical experience with a commitment to our values. We are looking for:
- More than one year of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to read and draw mechanical component diagrams.
- Professional certifications or demonstrable knowledge in machine tool operation, acetylene welding, forklift operation, and or fixed crane operation are strong advantages.
- A foundational understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- A relentless commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
