About the Role & Partnership

This position is offered in partnership with e2i (Employment and Employability Institute), empowering individuals with career opportunities and skills development. You will be part of an essential manufacturing operation, working with advanced equipment such as UHT systems, spray dryers, and packaging lines. The role offers a clear path for growth, providing the chance to develop specialized technical skills while ensuring the production of high-quality goods.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a core member of the production team, you will take ownership of critical operational processes. Your duties will include:

  • Operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on a range of processing equipment including Packaging lines, Dry Blending systems, Wet processing units, UHT, Evaporators, Spray Dryers, and CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems.
  • Assisting the Shift Supervisor in coordinating daily manufacturing activities to meet production targets.
  • Strictly adhering to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.
  • Following the packaging schedule diligently to ensure on-time product delivery to customers.
  • Contributing actively to the team’s effort to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, and output.
  • Working effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the initiative to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications And Skills for Success

To be successful in this technical role, you will need:

  • A NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality procedures.
  • The ability and willingness to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/night).
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and good mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing, food, pharmaceutical, or chemical processing environment is advantageous but not mandatory for candidates with the right educational foundation.
