Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of your assigned area. Your day will involve:

  • Operating and monitoring computerised machinery with touchscreen interfaces to manage the production process.
  • Taking full ownership of your zone’s performance, output quality, and cleanliness throughout your shift.
  • Conducting regular quality checks, performing basic data entry for traceability, and completing required documentation.
  • Carrying out thorough cleaning and sanitation procedures to meet our strict food safety standards.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting minor issues with product flow or equipment, taking initiative to resolve them.
  • Working a rotating roster of 12-hour shifts (2 days, 2 nights, then 4 days off), communicating clearly with your team during handovers.
  • Remaining active on your feet for the duration of your shift in a factory environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable individuals who are ready to learn and contribute. You will need:

  • A good level of mental agility the ability to learn new processes, solve problems, and adapt to a dynamic production line.
  • Basic comfort with technology, including using touchscreens and performing simple data entry.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.
  • Physical fitness for a role that involves prolonged standing, walking, and some manual tasks during a 12-hour shift.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • The legal right to work in New Zealand (a current work visa is required; this role does not offer visa sponsorship).
  • Willingness to complete pre-employment checks, including a medical, drug screen, and references.

Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or shift work is beneficial but not essential.
