Key Responsibilities
As a Plastic Welder, you will play a key role in the production process. Your primary duties will be:
- Performing precise plastic welding using specialised methods such as hot gas, extrusion, or ultrasonic welding, following technical drawings and specifications exactly.
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling plastic parts to create finished products or sub-assemblies for the semi-conductor industry.
- Operating and performing basic maintenance on all plastic welding and fabrication equipment.
- Conducting thorough quality checks on all welds and finished products to ensure they meet strength and specification standards.
- Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace by strictly adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Accurately documenting all work performed, including materials used, output, and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and technically proficient candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Proven, relevant experience in plastic welding within a manufacturing or similar technical environment.
