Key Responsibilities

As a Night Shift Plant Operator, you will be crucial to our round-the-clock production. Your key duties will include:

• Safely operating and monitoring oilseed crushing, extraction, and refining equipment from a central control room and through hands-on checks.
• Performing various production tasks across the site, including batch mixing, packaging support, and quality sampling.
• Operating mobile plant such as forklifts, loaders, and site trucks to move raw materials and finished products (training provided if needed).
• Vigilantly maintaining compliance with all food safety (e.g., HACCP), quality assurance, and health & safety protocols.
• Working collaboratively with a small night shift team to ensure smooth plant performance, troubleshooting minor issues, and reporting any concerns.
• Actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, or product quality.

Qualifications

We are looking for a reliable individual with a great attitude and willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or processing plant environment is ideal but not essential for the right candidate. We provide comprehensive training.
• A strong work ethic, a positive “can-do” attitude, excellent attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to a safety-first culture.
• The ability to work effectively both independently during a night shift and as a collaborative member of a small team.
• Experience operating forklifts, loaders, or trucks is beneficial but not a requirement for application.
• Must be available for the 4 days on 4 days off, 12-hour night shift roster. Some additional weekend work may be available.
