You will be stepping into the Hub Management section, specifically within the crucial Offshore Coordination department. As part of this collaborative team, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety and precise tracking of all our personnel offshore, acting as the authority for safe site access. We manage operational control under a stringent Safe System of Work (SSoW) and play a key role in implementing emergency response plans when necessary. Key Responsibilities

As an Offshore Coordinator, your daily contributions will be diverse, high-impact, and essential to maintaining smooth operations:

  • Coordinate immediate emergency response protocols, control vessel traffic, manage all radio communications, and professionally escalate incidents to the Incident Coordinator or second-line emergency response when required.
  • Effectively manage and update access restrictions for all Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) and transmission assets, receiving updated direction from the planning and scheduling function.
  • Skillfully handle vessel allocations, manage unforeseen changes to the daily plan or schedule, and actively work to optimize the overall efficiency and utilization of our fleet.
  • Operate the Offshore Management System (SOMS), ensuring that all personnel working offshore hold the correct and current safety certifications.
  • Provide accurate weather forecasting data, interpret this information to offer expert advice to our offshore teams, and ensure timely notices are issued to local mariners and operators.
  • Review vessel performance data, coordinating closely with Operations Logistics to confirm that efficient planning translates directly into the desired operational results, such as optimizing fuel consumption.

Qualifications

To seamlessly transition into this fast-paced and high-responsibility position, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following professional capabilities:

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English to effectively liaise with local and international stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in the offshore industry is essential, including solid knowledge of incident control procedures and practical experience with radio operations.
  • A strong understanding of Safe System of Work (SSoW) protocols and expertise in general marine coordination and vessel control, preferably gained in a marine setting.
  • A self-starter who is a proactive problem solver and a dedicated team player, capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently in a dynamic, high-pressure environmen
  • Highly computer literate and demonstrates the ability to quickly master and operate new specialized IT and offshore management systems.
