What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver and Pick Up Dumpsters: You’ll transport residential-friendly roll-off dumpsters to customer locations, then return to pick them up when the job is done.
Dump at Designated Facilities: When dumpsters are full, you’ll haul them to the appropriate disposal facility and empty them safely.
Provide Friendly Customer Service: You’re the face of the company at every stop. A friendly, professional attitude goes a long way.
Follow Delivery Schedules and Routes: You’ll follow the routes and schedules provided, ensuring timely service for every customer.
Inspect Your Vehicle: Before and after shifts, check for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Adhere to Traffic Laws: Safety and compliance come first. You’ll follow all traffic laws and regulations without exception.
Maintain Accurate Records: Keep track of mileage, fuel usage, delivery times, and other required information.
Use Technology: You’ll operate an iPad and cell phone as part of your daily routine—logging deliveries, communicating with dispatch, and managing paperwork.

What We’re Looking For

Valid Class C Driver’s License: Required. This role is open to both CDL and Non-CDL drivers.
Able to Obtain DOT Medical Card: You’ll need to pass a DOT physical and obtain your medical card.
Clean Driving Record: Required. We’ll check your record as part of the hiring process.
Able to Pass Background Check and Drug Test: Non-negotiable.
Friendly and Professional: You’ll interact with customers regularly. A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential.
Tech Comfortable: Ability to operate an iPad and cell phone for daily tasks.
Reliable and Punctual: Show up on time, ready to work.
Eager to Grow: We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a team long-term and grow with us.
Physical Capability: Able to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.

Experience and Skills

Previous Delivery or Truck Driving Experience Preferred: Not required, but helpful.
Familiarity with Box Trucks or Manual Transmissions a Plus: If you’ve driven similar vehicles, that’s an advantage.
Knowledge of Local Traffic Laws: Important for safe, compliant driving.
Time Management Skills: Deliveries need to happen on schedule.
Attention to Detail: Accurate recordkeeping matters.

Pay and Benefits

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour (with potential up to $25.00 per hour based on experience and performance)
Pay Range Listed: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour (final pay based on qualifications)

Shift: Day shift, no nights
Work Days: Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road, based out of Columbia, SC
Relocation: Must relocate to Columbia, SC area before starting work (if not local)
