We’re a locally owned Benjamin Moore dealer looking for a part-time Store Support & Delivery Associate for our Wheaton location. You’ll be doing a bit of everything—making deliveries, mixing paint, stocking shelves, helping customers, and making sure orders are accurate and ready to go. What You’ll Be Doing
- Make Deliveries Safely:Â You’ll drive a company vehicle to complete customer deliveries and store transfers, making sure paint and materials arrive on time and in good condition.
- Load and Unload Carefully:Â Load orders accurately, secure them for transport, and unload with care. Paint spills and damaged goods are avoidable with attention to detail.
- Mix and Shake Paint: You’ll mix paint to customer specifications—sometimes in large quantities—maintaining quality and consistency every time.
- Prepare Orders for Pickup or Delivery:Â Label gallons, box products, and stage orders so they’re ready to go when the customer arrives or when it’s time to load the truck.
- Stock Shelves and Organise the Warehouse:Â Keep the store and warehouse tidy, organised, and well-stocked. A clean workspace is an efficient workspace.
- Maintain Store Cleanliness:Â Inside and outside the building, you’ll help keep things looking professional and inviting.
- Support the Sales Counter:Â During busy periods, you’ll step in to greet customers, answer basic product questions, and enter orders into the POS system.
- Answer Phones and Assist with Tasks:Â General store tasks come with the territory. You’ll pitch in wherever the team needs support.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Driver’s License:Â Required. You’ll be driving company vehicles for deliveries.
- Physical Capability:Â Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and stand/move for most of your shift.
- Saturday Availability:Â We need someone who can work some Saturdays as needed.
- Bilingual Preferred:Â English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Outgoing and Personable:Â You’ll interact with customers, so being friendly and approachable matters.
- Responsible and Safety-Minded:Â When you’re behind the wheel, safety comes first.
- Organised and Detail-Oriented:Â Orders need to be accurate, deliveries need to be on time, and shelves need to be stocked correctly.
- Comfortable with Physical Work:Â This isn’t a sit-down job. You’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and staying active.
- Calm Under Pressure:Â Fast-paced environments don’t rattle you. You stay steady and focused.
- Team Player:Â Willing to jump in wherever help is needed, whether it’s in your job description or not.
- Coachable and Open to Learning:Â We’ll teach you what you need to know, but you need to be willing to learn.
Schedule and Pay
- Schedule:Â Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 12:00pm (25 hours per week)
- Store Hours:Â Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm, Saturday 8am-12pm, Sunday closed
- Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
- Job Type:Â Part-time
- Work Location:Â In person at our Wheaton location (2200 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD 20902)
