JJs Waste and Recycling is seeking an enthusiastic Bin Maintenance – Yard Hand to join our team in Wiri, Auckland. This full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in maintaining our fleet of bins and managing our yard operations. The hourly rate is $25 to $30. What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect, clean, and perform maintenance repairs on our commercial bins.
- Assist with the organisation and upkeep of our yard, including organising bin storage and movement.
- Provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Support the wider operations team as required.
- Maintain supplier relationships and stock for Auckland.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar bin maintenance or yard operations role.
- Strong aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- A valid driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing.
