Key Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Manager, you will be the driving force behind a seamless and efficient operation. Your typical day will involve a mix of hands-on leadership and strategic oversight.

• Direct the daily shift operations, ensuring all guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas meet our high standards for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms and public areas, providing immediate feedback and holding the team accountable for corrective actions.
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure your team has the proper tools and uniforms to perform their duties effectively.
• Prepare work assignments by coordinating with the Front Desk to track room status, check-outs, and immediate cleaning needs.
• Lead and participate in departmental meetings, consistently communicating goals and standards to achieve desired results.
• Monitor the department’s budget, understanding its impact on the property’s overall financial objectives.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in hospitality management who can balance operational needs with team development.

• A high school diploma or GED is required, plus at least two years of experience in a housekeeping or related supervisory role. A 2-year degree in Hospitality or a related field can be substituted for experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team, with a strong focus on employee satisfaction and development.
• Solid understanding of housekeeping operations, inventory management, and budget controls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to establish open, collaborative relationships with employees and other departments.
• A proactive problem-solver who can handle guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
