What You Will Be Doing
- Drive or control heavy equipment to complete tasks at construction sites.
- Monitor performance and adjust settings as required to perform tasks correctly.
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles used to transport it.
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
- Track scheduled maintenance of equipment and notify supervisors if maintenance is past due.
- Fill out performance records to report problems with equipment.
- Clean equipment after use and dispose of any collected waste.
- Complete minor repair work as needed.
- Perform any necessary labor work as required.
- Work safely within Company policy, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
- Work adjusted shifts (AM or PM) and overtime as needed.
Minimum Hiring Requirements
- 5-year construction experience preferred.
- Must have experience with GPS machine controls (Topcon, Trimble, etc.).
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Able to work safely within Company policy, OSHA, and MSHA Standards.
- Able to do any necessary labor work.
- Able to work adjusted shifts (AM or PM).
- Able to work overtime.
- Must be a Team Player and work well with others.
- Must be permitted to work in the United States (per Federal Law).
