Key Responsibilities

You will be trained to operate essential equipment within a meat processing facility. Your primary duties will include:

  • Safely starting up, operating, monitoring, and shutting down production machinery according to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Conducting changeovers on the line when switching between different meat products or packaging formats to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Handling raw meat products such as beef, lamb, and pork as part of the processing and packing procedure.
  • Performing basic visual checks and troubleshooting on equipment, reporting any mechanical faults promptly to the maintenance team.
  • Working effectively as part of a production team to meet daily targets while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Adhering to all workplace health, safety, and food safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are reliable and ready to learn in a unique environment. To be considered, you should have:

  • Proof of full working rights in Australia is a mandatory requirement.
