Key Responsibilities
In this varied trainee role, you’ll be mentored to handle a mix of field and yard duties, including:
- Safely loading, transporting, and installing our cabins at customer sites throughout the local region.
- Ensuring every delivery is completed efficiently, on time, and with a focus on outstanding customer service.
- Assisting with the maintenance, cleaning, and repair of cabins within our Tokoroa yard.
- Performing basic checks and upkeep on the delivery vehicle and equipment to keep everything in reliable working order.
- Communicating clearly with the management team about any site conditions, installation challenges, or maintenance needs you encounter.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a candidate with the right attitude and a willingness to learn. The essentials for this role are:
- A valid New Zealand driver’s licence and some experience with driving or towing larger vehicles.
- A good level of physical fitness for handling equipment and assisting with installations.
- A strong safety-first mentality and a readiness to follow all procedures and instructions from your mentor.
- Good practical skills, a helpful attitude, and excellent communication for dealing with customers and team members.
- A reliable, can-do approach and an eagerness to develop new skills in delivery and basic maintenance.
