We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian-Maintenance Assistant to join our team at a local manufacturing facility. In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by performing daily cleaning and light maintenance tasks that keep operations running smoothly.
This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and enjoys working independently. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the potential for full-time hours in the future based on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities
As a Custodian-Maintenance Assistant, your duties will include a variety of tasks designed to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout the facility:
- Conduct daily safety sweeps to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Remove debris and eliminate potential hazards from work surfaces and walkways
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Keep accurate records of cleaning and maintenance activities
- Perform deep cleaning of specific equipment as assigned
- Assist with general maintenance and other facility upkeep tasks as needed

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of janitorial and light maintenance duties
- Good communication and teamwork skill.
Preferred
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and cleaning protocols
