Key Responsibilities


As a Janitor, your role is essential to maintaining a clean and comfortable facility. You will:

  • Perform routine and deep cleaning duties across various facility areas.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment following established procedures.
  • Operate standard and motorized janitorial equipment safely and effectively.
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and surfaces as assigned.
  • Clean restrooms, replace supplies, and dispose of waste properly.
  • Wax and polish floors to maintain shine and cleanliness.
  • Respond to urgent cleaning requests promptly and professionally.
  • Use correct safety techniques for handling waste or chemical spills.
  • Collaborate with team members and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  • The ability to read and follow written or verbal instructions.
