We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team in Canada. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a steady 35-hour work week. Responsibilities
- Operate dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying equipment safely and efficiently.
- Mix and add appropriate detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other cleaning agents according to fabric type and load.
- Hand-fold, iron, and bag cleaned articles such as shirts, linens, uniforms, and delicate garments.
- Inspect laundered and dry-cleaned items to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met.
- Handle and report any damaged or improperly cleaned items to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is used safely and properly maintained.
- Work effectively with the housekeeping team to support the smooth operation of hotel services.
Qualifications And Experience
Education
Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience
1 to less than 7 months of related work experience preferred.
Type of Experience
General dry cleaning or laundry service.
Equipment Experience
Operation of washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
Work Conditions
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
- Requires standing for extended periods and handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Salary
