Key Responsibilities

Your day will be active and varied, combining indoor preparation with outdoor delivery as you serve your community.

• Begin each day at the depot, sorting and organizing mail and parcels for your assigned route.
• Load a Canada Post postal vehicle and drive safely to your delivery area.
• Spend the majority of your shift outdoors, walking or driving to deliver mail and packages to customers, ensuring every item reaches its destination.
• Return to the depot at the end of your shift to unload any incoming mail collected for future delivery.

Qualifications

We are looking for reliable, physically fit individuals who meet the following essential criteria.

• A valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) with a safe driving record for at least 3 years (a driver’s abstract will be required).
• The physical capability to regularly lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) throughout your shift.
• The ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.
• Flexible, on-call availability is required for this temporary position.
• As this position is in Quebec, fluency in French is essential.
