Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Head Housekeeper and Laundry Supervisors.
- Provide friendly, professional service to both internal and external guests.
- Service, wash, dry, and clean all linens to required standards within designated timeframes.
- Maintain stock levels of linens and laundry supplies, ensuring items are neat and presentable.
- Report any lost property following proper procedures.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in the laundry and back-of-house areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry is preferred but not essential.
- Physically fit and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work on a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Salary Range
NZD $25.00 – $26.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Additional penalty rates apply for weekends and public holidays, in line with New Zealand employment law.
- Uniform provided, and laundry allowance may be applicable.
