Key Responsibilities

As a Laundry Attendant, you will ensure our linens and guest laundry meet our strict quality standards. Your primary duties will include:

• Operating commercial washers, dryers, and dry-cleaning machines safely and efficiently to process hotel linens and guest items.
• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stocking all laundry with careful attention to detail.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe laundry area, managing inventory of supplies, and restocking as needed.
• Inspecting items for stains or damage and treating them appropriately before washing.
• Monitoring equipment performance and promptly reporting any maintenance issues to a supervisor.
• Collaborating with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure a smooth workflow and timely availability of linens.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a candidate who is both thorough and efficient. The ideal person will have:

• Previous experience in a laundry role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Practical knowledge of laundry equipment, cleaning processes, and chemical safety.
• The physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift heavy laundry bags (typically 25-50 lbs).
