The ESG Test Lab Technician is responsible for conducting a wide range of mechanical and electrical testing in accordance with industry standards and specific test plans. This role plays a key part in supporting the product engineering and development process by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all test data, as well as assisting in troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Conduct various forms of testing according to industry standards, specifications, and approved test plans.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines and testing requirements.
- Review and verify test results to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
- Perform initial root cause or failure analysis as needed to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate closely with product engineers to discuss test results, setups, and improvements.
- Assist Test Lab Engineers with equipment maintenance, setup of new test procedures, documentation updates, and training activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized testing environment in compliance with safety protocols.

Required Experience And Skills
- Previous experience in a product or process development technician role required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with engineers and team members.
Physical And Safety Requirements
Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
- Light work involving exertion of up to 20 pounds frequently and/or negligible force constantly to move objects.
Work Environment
- Exposure to chemicals, noise, and hazardous materials mandatory use of safety glasses, protective gear, and adherence to all department safety rules.
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
- No sensory impairments that would affect performance or safety.
- Must complete CPR, First Aid, and AED training (company-provided if not already certified).
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) preferred.
