Key Responsibilities

As a Cook, you will be essential to our daily operations, ensuring every dish is prepared with care and consistency.

• Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes according to established recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring timely and efficient service.
•  Manage all core prep tasks such as washing rice, cutting vegetables, and preparing meats. Strictly adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols at all times.
• Monitor ingredient quality, check product expiry dates, and assist with basic stock rotation. Practice the “Clean As You Go” method to maintain a tidy, organized, and safe workstation.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service, and be prepared to assist with any other reasonable duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable team player who shares our commitment to quality.

• This position is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
• At least 2 years of kitchen experience, with a demonstrated interest and preferably some background in Japanese cuisine.
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
• You must be independent, self-motivated, and an excellent team player.
• A strong understanding of and unwavering commitment to food safety and hygiene standards is non-negotiable.
