Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our regional driving team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of freight. Your primary duties will include:
- Safely operating a dedicated company tractor and flatbed trailer on regional routes within Ontario and Quebec.
- Securing, tarping, and untarping building materials loads in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Performing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintaining accurate electronic logs.
- Loading and unloading freight as required, following all site-specific safety protocols.
- Communicating professionally with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Upholding the company’s high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
We are looking for professional drivers with specific flatbed experience who meet the following criteria:
- A valid AZ Driver’s Licence with a clean commercial driving abstract.
- Flatbed experience is required.
- A strong, verifiable safety record and a commitment to safe driving practices.
- The ability to perform physical duties associated with flatbed operations, including securement and tarping.
- Reliability, a professional attitude, and excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to run regional routes, out through the week and home for weekends.
