Key Responsibilities
As a Service Person Driver, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our operations smooth and our customers happy. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in person and over the phone.
- Demonstrating safe and proper use of our hire equipment.
- Handling the pickup and delivery of equipment to customer sites, including safe loading and unloading.
- Conducting equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Preparing and checking equipment before hire and upon return.
- Ensuring the branch and workshop areas are kept clean and organized.
- Assisting the team with general branch duties as needed.
Qualifications
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds customer service, construction, driving, retail, trades, or maintenance as long as you’re ready to learn and take pride in your work. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A valid driver’s licence (mandatory).
- Availability to work half-day Saturdays on a rotating roster.
- Good physical fitness; able to lift, stand, and move equipment safely.
- A safety-first mindset and ability to pass a drug test.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine interest in equipment, tools, and helping others.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to grow through ongoing training.
