Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor team members in HDPE liner placement.
- Perform welding of HDPE liners using multiple techniques to ensure secure and durable joins.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications for pond lining projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for liner installation.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to maintain project timelines and reporting requirements.
- Conduct inspections and testing of welded seams to verify structural integrity.
- Maintain equipment and tools in proper working order.
- Work on site safely, following all health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in HDPE liner placement.
- Proven ability to supervise and train staff.
- Strong background in water storage pond construction.
- Solid understanding of quality control standards for liner installation.
- Qualified in various HDPE welding techniques.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on site in the Canterbury region and report through the Timaru office.
