 Green by Nature is seeking three dedicated Grounds Workers to join our Auckland team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.  Key Responsibilities

You’ll be involved in a diverse range of hands-on tasks that keep our green spaces thriving and beautiful.

• Perform comprehensive garden and grounds maintenance, including pruning, planting, mulching, and general garden care.
• Operate equipment for hedge trimming, weed eating (line trimming), edging, and flax cutting.
• Apply herbicides safely and according to guidelines, as well as manually remove weeds and pest plants.
• Maintain both soft landscaping (gardens, lawns) and hard landscaping areas to a high standard.
• Work collaboratively within a team to complete daily schedules efficiently and safely.
• Use technology, such as smartphones, for task management and communication as required.

Qualifications

We are looking for motivated individuals with the right attitude and readiness to work outdoors.

• A current, full Class 1 driver’s licence with the ability to confidently drive a manual vehicle.
• A good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of this active, outdoor role.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• High motivation, reliability, and a strong desire to learn and get the job done.
• While practical horticulture experience is ideal, it is not essential—a great work ethic and passion for the outdoors are key.
• Familiarity with using a smartphone and basic technology is advantageous.
