Key Responsibilities
As a key member of our evening crew, you’ll be the engine of our logistics operation. Your primary focus will be on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
- Accurately pick, build, and prepare customer orders based on detailed shipping manifests.
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks with a variety of construction materials.
- Carefully verify the accuracy and quality of all materials being shipped and received, cross-referencing with orders and purchase orders.
- Restock inventory and perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation with a strong attention to detail.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a proactive individual who brings both skill and a great attitude. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- At least 2 years of proven experience safely operating a counterbalance forklift.
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (approx. 23 kg) unassisted and perform demanding work.
- Your own steel-toed work boots, demonstrating your commitment to personal safety.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented personality with strong communication and organizational skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to stay focused on time-sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment.
