About the Position
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position that plays a foundational role in the daily life of our Home. We are seeking individuals who understand that a spotless environment is crucial for health, morale, and respect. You’ll work in a supportive setting where your contribution is a key part of honoring Veteran residents. This position offers a clear choice between day and evening shifts, allowing you to find a schedule that works for your life.
Your Core Responsibilities
Your daily tasks are essential to the health, safety, and comfort of our residents and staff.
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitizing of all assigned areas, including resident rooms, common areas, dining rooms, and restrooms using approved methods (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing).
- Conduct specialized floor care, including waxing, buffing, and spot cleaning.
- Safely move furniture and equipment to ensure no area is overlooked.
- Operate and maintain various power-driven equipment such as industrial buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
- Climb ladders or stairs to clean vents, windows, light fixtures, and high-reach areas.
- Properly handle and apply all sanitizing agents and disinfectants in accordance with safety data sheets and training.
- Monitor and restock all soap, paper towel, and toiletry dispensers throughout the facility.
- Collaborate directly with the nursing department to prioritize tasks and support the overall care plan for residents.

- No prior experience is necessary (0-1 years). We provide comprehensive, paid training.
